Building Peace with the Interact Club of Kathmandu
The 2025 Interact Awards invited Interactors to submit a 2-minute video showing how their Interact club unites for good and builds peace in the world. Over 350 Interact clubs participated, showcasing the ways Interactors promote meaningful and positive change within their communities and across the globe. Awarded “Best Video,” the Interact Club of Kathmandu, Nepal, took an intergenerational approach to peace-building. Fighting Malaria in Zambia
Malaria remains a leading cause of preventable illness and death in Zambia. But bringing testing and treatment closer to home is helping change that. Through Partners for a Malaria-Free Zambia, Rotary and its partners trained 2,500 volunteer community health workers to test and treat malaria in their own communities.
